47-year-old man killed, woman hurt in Baltimore Co. crash

Second driver taken to Shock Trauma after two-vehicle collision

A 47-year-old man was killed and a woman was taken to a local hospital after a head-on, two-vehicle crash in Northern Baltimore County Tuesday morning, police said.

The man, whos identity has been withheld until police notify family, was traveling north on Falls Road when his vehicle and an oncoming vehicle collided in Sparks just after 9 a.m., police said.

The driver of the second vehicle was trying to make a left-hand turn from Falls Road onto Miller Road when the crash occurred, police said.

The man was taken to Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said. The second driver was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center. The extent of her injuries were unknown Tuesday night.
