A 71-year-old woman died after the car she was riding in collided with a vehicle that ran a red light Tuesday night in Arnold, Anne Arundel County police said.

Killed in the 11:07 p.m. crash was Lois Audrey Feick, 71, of the 700 block of Pine Trail, Arnold, according to police. The accident remained under investigation Wednesday.

According to a preliminary investigation, police said a 2002 Honda Accord was northbound on Ritchie Highway and failed to stop for the red light at the intersection of Ritchie Highway and College Parkway. The Accord struck the passenger side of a 2004 Audi A8L that was southbound on Ritchie Highway and was turning left onto College Parkway, police said. The Audi then struck a 1998 Ford Contour that was also turning left from southbound Ritchie Highway onto College Parkway, police said.

The driver of the Audi, Jack Schloh Feick, 71, of the same address as the passenger, was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in serious condition, according to police. The driver of the Honda, Tyler Durant Stewart, 29, of the first block of E. Fort Ave., Baltimore, sustained minor injuries, police said.
