Matthew Del Grosso, of Columbia, participated in Salisbury University's 10th annual Student Research Conference. He co-presented "Molecular Biodiversity of Plants and Animals: Conservation, Sexual Selection and Speciation."

Kyle Greenhaus, of Columbia, has been named to the dean's list for the spring 2011 semester at the University of Vermont, in Burlington, Vt. He is a junior majoring in business administration.

Jacklyn Grad, of Columbia, participated in Salisbury University's 10th annual Student Research Conference. She co-presented "Parking, Crime and Partying: A Case Study of Community-University Relations." Her group presented a qualitative case study critically analyzing the relationship between a mid-sized state university and the surrounding rural community.

Kevin O'Brien and Alison Smith, both of Columbia, earned degrees in May from Villanova University, in Villanova, Pa.

Nathaniel Nichols, of Columbia, earned a degree in engineering in May from Messiah College, in Grantham, Pa.

Matthew Buonato, of Columbia, earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice in May from La Salle University, in Philadelphia, Pa.
