Meade boys basketball coach Corriero hired by Bay Area Shuckers

28-year-old will continue to coach Mustangs

The Bay Area Shuckers of the Atlantic Coast Professional Basketball League named Pete Corriero as the first head coach in franchise history on Monday.

Corriero, 28, will remain the boys basketball head coach at Meade, where he has been since 2009.

The New Jersey native began his coaching career in 2004 as an assistant at St. Mary's.

The Shuckers will play their home games in Anne Arundel County.
