The University of Maryland, Baltimore County will remain without power until Sunday evening, according to the school's website.
University officials have encouraged people to stay off campus during the outage that began Thursday evening.
Students living on campus were encouraged to stay with family or friends off-campus on Friday, according to the school's website. Students who stayed were assigned temporary emergency housing.
