Laurel police report felonies, arrests and property crimes. Howard County police report major crimes, break-ins and car thefts. Prince George's County did not release a crime log this week.

City of Laurel

Woodland Court, Unit block, May 18. Garmin GPS system and coins stolen from truck.

Baltimore Avenue, 14100 block, May 17. Riverdale man, 22, arrested and charged with theft after being apprehended for shoplifting at Best Buy.

Laurel Bowie Road, 14600 block, May 17. Samsung cell phone stolen from store counter after owner left it in store.

Phillip Court, 14700 block, May 15. Entry gained through sliding glass door. Nothing taken but water line in bathroon cut and water flooded home causing major damage to house and adjoining house.

Fourth Street, 900 block, May 13. Entry gained through door. Nothing reported taken.

Montgomery Street, 900 block, May 13. Gray and black Nishiki bicycle stolen from driveway.

Fairlawn Avenue, 1000 block, May 13. Rockville man, 36, and Laurel man arrested and charged with theft after stealing items from Giant Food. Both released on criminal citations.

Westview Terrace, 1100 block, May 11. Large quantity of meat products delivered to address May 11. Vendor returned to collect payment and individual refused to pay and denied ever receiving meat.

Howard County

Cedar Avenue, 7300 block, 9:54 p.m. May 22. Entry gained to abandoned home.

Polished Stone, 9700 block, 10:30 a.m. May 17. Entry gained to unsecured residence.

County Meadows Lane, 9700 block, 10:20 p.m. May 17. Entry attempted by cutting window screen.
