The Howard County Office of Aging is asking for vendors and exhibitors for the 50+ Expo, which will be held Oct. 21. This will be the expo's 13th year.

Last year was the first year I attended, and it was really fabulous. I saw lots of friends there, and the entertainment was great. I collected some interesting information about services available to county residents.

Last year's event drew more than 4,000 people. Being there, I could tell it was packed!

This year's expo will feature a health fair, healthy aging seminars, flu shots, diabetes screening and The Capitol Steps for entertainment. For applications for vendor space, go to http://www.howardcountyaging.org or call 410-313-5990.

Hope to see you there! I wouldn't miss it for the world!
