Ruse, C. Milton Wright beat Towson, 7-2

Senior Bobby Rose pitched a complete game Monday as No. 10 C. Milton Wright recorded 10 hits and defeated visiting Towson, 7-2, in a Class 3A North regional quarterfinal baseball game.

Digital Harbor 12, Douglass 2: Zak Mackenzie was 2-for-2 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored to lead the Rams (14-2) over the visiting Ducks in a Class 2A North regional quarterfinal.

Devin Parlier struck out 10 in five innings for Digital Harbor.

Softball

No. 3 Broadneck 9, Meade 0: Rebekah Kaiser struck out 15 while allowing two hits in a seven-inning complete game as the Bruins (17-3) shut out the visiting Mustangs in a Class 4A East quarterfinal.

Broadneck's Kristina Dillard was 3-for-4 with three RBIs.

North Harford 5, No. 12 Franklin 4: Emily Briggs hit a home run on the first pitch of the game and Taylor Stile had a home run and two RBIs to lead the visiting Hawks over the Indians in a Class 3A North quarterfinal.

Melissa Doering pitched six strong innings, giving up four hits and striking out four for North Harford.

No. 14 C. Milton Wright 18, Patapsco 0: Shortstop Lindsay Resnik was 3-for-4 with seven RBIs to lead the Mustangs past the visiting Patriots in their Class 3A North quarterfinal.

Loch Raven 10, Sparrows Point 1: Jordan Pross had 12 strikeouts in a no-hit win over the visiting Pointers in a Class 1A North quarterfinal.
