Man fatally shot in North Baltimore

Police searching for supect and motive

A man was shot in North Baltimore early Saturday and died about an hour later at an area hospital, a police spokesman said.

Officers called to the 4500 block of Marble Hall Road, in New Northwood, found the man shot in the head at 3:05 a.m., said Detective Jeremy Silbert. The man was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 4:06 a.m.

Police said they did not have a suspect or motive. The man's name was not released, pending notification of next of kin.
