Nominees for Unsung Heroes Awards

More than 100 football players and girls basketball players will be honored Monday night at the 71st Annual McCormick Unsung Heroes Awards Banquet at the Hunt Valley Inn.

The nominees, all seniors, total 107 from 67 schools in Baltimore metro area. One boy and one girl will be named winners of Charles Perry McCormick Scholarships, valued at $36,000 over four years of college.

Last year's winners were Jessica Kikola, of Patapsco High School, and Joshual Melton, from Dunbar High School.
