Purchase OpenSkies flight and receive free train trip

What's the deal? OpenSkies, the all-business-class airline and subsidiary of British Airways, offers direct business-class flights to Paris from Washington. Now the airline is adding a partnership with TGV Air, the French National Railway's high-speed luxury train. The new promotion enables travelers to purchase plane tickets and train tickets at the same time and also receive free shuttle service to and from the Massy Train Station.

Through April 30, when you purchase a round-trip airfare on OpenSkies, you will also receive a free round-trip train ticket good for travel to one of 14 cities in France, including Angers, Bordeaux, Le Mans, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Metz/Nancy, Nantes, Poitiers, Reims, Rennes, Tours and Valence.

What are the savings? It varies. The train ticket has a value of up to $450. But keep in mind that the flights are business class, with airfares around $1,000 — or more — each way.

What's the catch? Nothing apparent. The offer is valid for any OpenSkies booking in any fare class. The train ticket is good for travel by June 15.
