“The Other Side of ... ” asks local musicians to share their more personal sides. Jenn Wasner, whose band Wye Oak will play a homecoming show at 2640 Space Saturday ($12, missiontix.com), kicks off b’s new feature:
Last movie I saw: I honestly can’t remember. Wait ... I think it might be “Pootie Tang.” Yeah, I think it was. Wow.
Last album I loved: Life of Love by Callers, who we happen to be on tour with right now.
Last book I read: “Just Kids” by Patti Smith
Last TV show I obsessed over: It’s been awhile. I don’t watch much TV. Probably still “The Wire.”
Last time I played Baltimore it was ... um, fun?
Last song I sang at karaoke: “Umbrella” by Rihanna. Which is the only song I’ve sung at karaoke, for I have done karaoke but once.
Last concert I went to as a fan: When Ed Schrader and Dope Body played at the Bell Foundry. I live there, so I technically didn’t leave my house … not sure if that counts.
Last great Baltimore meal I ate: I’m not in Baltimore much these days. Probably a G&M crabcake, which coincidentally, will probably be the first meal I have upon my return.
Last App I downloaded: Words with Friends
Last hidden treasure I found in Baltimore: If I told you, it wouldn’t be hidden anymore. AS TOLD TO WESLEY CASE, B
