Unidentified man shot in torso in West Baltimore

Victim treated at area hospital, condition not available

A 21-year-old man was shot shortly before midnight Saturday on a West Baltimore street, city police said. The victim, whose name police did not release, told authorities he was walking in the 2800 block of Harlem Ave. when he heard "two pops" and then realized he was shot in the torso, police said. The man was treated and stabilized by medical staff at an undisclosed area hospital for treatment, but his condition was not immediately available. Police did not release information about possible suspect or motive in the attack.
