MEN

John Galloway, Syracuse

Senior, West Genesee, N.Y., goalkeeper

Galloway recorded his best performance of the season when he made a season-best 16 saves in the top-ranked Orange's 13-11 decision against then-No. 4 Duke at the Konica Minolta Big City Classic at The New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., on Sunday. With that outcome, Galloway earned his 52nd career victory, surpassing Princeton's Scott Bacigalupo for the most wins by a goalie in Division I. With 529 career saves, Galloway is just 9 saves from overtaking Matt Palumb for seventh on the school's all-time saves list.

WOMEN

Nikki Branchini, Albany

Senior, Guilderland, N.Y., midfield

Last season's America East Player of the Year and the first All-American in Albany Division I history led the No. 7 Great Danes to two road wins last week. She had six draw controls, including one that led to the game-tying goal, in an 11-10 victory over No. 14 Boston College. She had career high goals (four) and points (five) in an 11-5 win at Stony Brook. Branchini, the team leader in draw controls and caused turnovers, sets the pace for the top scoring defense in Division I.
