Wear your Bermudas, get $25 off AirTran flight

April 06, 2011|By Michelle Deal-Zimmerman | The Baltimore Sun

Tomorrow AirTran begins offering new nonstop service from Baltimore to Bermuda, land of pink sands, turquoise waters and those knee-length shorts. To celebrate, the airline is hosting a "Bermuda Shorts Day" at Arundel Mills Mall.

All you gotta do is show up at the mall's food court, wearing your own stylish Bermuda shorts between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. and you will receive a $25 discount voucher for AirTran and you will also be registered for a chance to win a Bermuda vacation package, including flight and hotel.

The airline will have traditional Gombey dancers, Poe, the Ravens mascot, and other fun on hand too. Did I mention that in Bermuda, some folks pair the Bermuda shorts with a sportcoat? So you don't even have to change for the office. And don't forget the knee socks.
