'Each One Invites One' Exhibit on display through Sunday, April 10, at McBride Gallery, 215 Main St. in Annapolis, includes the work of five artists invited by the gallery owner, Cynthia McBride, who in turn invited five artists whose work they admired and respected. 'Memories and Mementos: The History of Shady Side Schools from 1868 to 1978' Exhibit researched by the Shady Side Rural Heritage Society opens Sunday, April 3, at the Captain Salem Avery Museum, 1418 E. West Shady Side Road. Hours and information: 410-867-4486 or shadysidemuseum.org.

Juried exhibition The Maryland Federation of Art presents the 34th annual Art on Paper, a national juried exhibition of more than 70 paper artworks selected from more than 1,000 nationwide submissions. 'Water's Edge' An exhibition of the maritime photography of Lisa Masson will be on display through April 30 at the Annapolis Maritime Museum, 723 Second St. All artwork is for sale.
