Misleading 'Catholic case for gay marriage'

March 15, 2011

Not only does The Sun support gay marriage, it also wants to mislead readers into thinking that all Catholics are in favor of it. Your headline for "The Catholic case for gay marriage" (March 9) in the Readers Respond section should have been checked out with Archbishop Edwin O'Brien who could have told you whether this is really the Catholic case for gay marriage.

Why do Catholics upset The Sun so much? Why do you keep trying to tarnish the image of Catholics?

Does the truth upset The Sun so much that you want to keep attacking the Catholic Church's stand on issues? Why doesn't The Sun just stop attacking the Catholic Church and report in an unbiased manner? Publishing the "Catholic case for gay marriage" is just another way for you to mislead your readers.
