The Lehigh men's basketball team scored 28 of the first 39 second-half points and withstood a late Navy rally to pull out an 87-75 win in the Patriot League quarterfinals Wednesday. With the win, the defending league champion Mountain Hawks (16-4) advance to the league semifinals for the second straight season; they will travel to Bucknell to face the top-seeded Bison on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

The Bison beat Army, 78-51, in the other quarterfinal.

The win marks Lehigh's fourth straight in the Patriot League tournament, all coming in Stabler Arena. C.J. McCollum led the way with 25 points while junior Jordan Hamilton added a career-high 15 points on 4-for-7 shooting, including 3-for-4 from 3-point range.

The Midshipmen (11-20) got only nine points from Patriot League Rookie of the Year forward-center J.J. Avila.

Junior guard Jordan Sugars added 11 points on 2-for-13 shooting for Navy, which hasn't won a playoff game since 2001.

After trading baskets over the opening minutes, McCollum hit a 3-pointer to give the Mountain Hawks an 11-6 lead with 14:10 left in the first half. Navy responded with a 4-0 run, but Hamilton answered with a 3 of his own to make it 14-10 with 13:01 to go.

The Mids pulled within 15-14 after a layup by Mark Veazey, but the Mountain Hawks staged an 11-2 run over the next 4:36 to open a 26-16 advantage with 7:22 remaining.

Delaware 75, Towson 57: Despite 15 points and eight assists from Krystal Parnell, the visiting Tigers (9-20, 3-15 Colonial Athletic Association) lost to the Blue Hens (17-12, 10-8) in the regular-season finale for both teams.

The Tigers will be the 11th seed in next week's CAA tournament and face sixth-seeded Drexel in the first round.
