Author appearance Howard County Friends of Latin America presents Jeanne Lemkau, author of "Lost and Found in Cuba: A Tale of Midlife Rebellion," from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Howard County Library's central location, 10375 Little Patuxent Parkway, for a signing and discussion. Carnival The annual Jewish Federation of Howard County Purim Carnival takes place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. March 20 at Reservoir High School, 11550 Scaggsville Road in Fulton. Event features entertainment by Washington Talent and DJ Doug; the festival includes games, vendors, face painting, crafts, prizes and raffles, a coffeehouse, food and more.
