1. Duke 25-2 (5): Can Blue Devils handle a late nonconference game vs. tournament-bound Temple?

2. Ohio State 25-2 (2): Buckeyes looked shaky in losses at Wisconsin and Purdue.

3. Kansas 25-2 (4): Jayhawks need to find a replacement for suspended Tyshawn Taylor.

4. Pittsburgh 24-3 (3): A one-point loss at red-hot St. John's shouldn't hurt Panthers too much.

5. Texas 23-4 (1): Nebraska blindsided Longhorns, handing them first loss since Jan. 8.

6. San Diego State 27-1 (6): Aztecs can avenge a 14-point loss to BYU — their only defeat.

7. BYU 25-2 (8): Just a half-game separates Cougars from San Diego State in the Mountain West.

8. Purdue 22-5 (11): It was an impressive week with victories over Wisconsin and Ohio State.

9. Notre Dame 21-5 (7): Irish have lost four of last five games against West Virginia.

14. Connecticut 20-6 (12): Huskies lost their last two road games, falling to St. John's and Louisville.

15. Villanova 21-6 (13): Corey Fisher's 34 against DePaul doubled his total from previous two games.

16. Vanderbilt 20-6 (18): Commodores get another shot at Tennessee after losing by three last month.

19. Syracuse 22-6 (17): Orange needed overtime to beat downtrodden Rutgers.

20. Missouri 21-6 (20): Tigers finally won their first Big 12 road game by topping Iowa State.

21. North Carolina 20-6 (22): Tar Heels were held to season-low 48 points vs. Boston College — and won.

22. Texas A&M 21-5 (21): Aggies have won three straight on the road.

23. Temple 21-5 (23): Lavoy Allen has a school-record 1,045 rebounds.

24. St. John's 17-9 (NR): With five wins over ranked opponents, Red Storm raging.

25. Utah State 25-3 (24): Aggies earned signature win against St. Mary's.
