Roundup: Oakland Mills boys rout Mount Hebron

Greg Whittington scored a game-high 34 points, including his 1,000th career point in the fourth quarter, as No. 6 Oakland Mills beat visiting Mount Hebron, 58-38, on Thursday. Whittington made three of the team's five 3-pointers, and the Scorpions (22-0) played tough defense, limiting the Vikings to eight points in the first half.

No. 1 Patterson 99, Randallstown 70: Aquille Carr had 32 points and 11 assists as the Clippers moved to 20-1 on the season. Up by 15 at halftime, Patterson opened the second half with a press defense that led to a decisive 27-14 run in the third quarter. The Clippers will play in the Baltimore City championship Tuesday. Michael Oyefusi led the Rams with 20 points.

No. 8 Dunbar 63, Easton 41: Iakeem Alston scored 18 points to power the host Poets (18-3) past the Warriors. Dunbar, which hit five 3-pointers, led after the third quarter, 52-37.

Atholton 73, Wilde Lake 62: Darren Fitzpatrick led the host Raiders (6-16) with 17 points.

No. 2 Aberdeen 84, C. Milton Wright 31: Ayana Stewart scored 29 points to power the host Eagles (19-1) past the Mustangs.

Catholic 48, St. Timothy's 35: Brittany Winborne had a double double (22 points, 10 rebounds) to power the host Cubs (20-2) past St. Timothy's in an Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland B Conference semifinal. The Cubs face St. John's-Catholic Prep in Sunday's championship at Goucher.
