United Cerebral Palsy of Southern Maryland

Volunteers are needed for a variety of positions, including placing and picking up donation canisters, event assistance, office assistant, board of directors and committee members, assisting with recreational activities, handyman, yard work and more. Information: 410-224-4205.

Arts council

The Arts Council of AAC needs volunteers 18 and older to help in the office with answering phones and computer input for the membership database. Information: 410-222-7949.

Hospice of the Chesapeake

The organization seeks volunteers to join the "Tuck-In-Team." They will call patient caregivers on Thursdays from the Annapolis office and check whether they have enough medications and supplies to last the weekend. Breast cancer

"Save the Coconuts," an organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds to fight the disease in the area, needs volunteers for tasks associated with local fundraising. Information: 410-353-1552.

Maryland Food Bank
