Traditionally, this time of year marks the beginning of a busy homebuying season; this week, Toll Brothers “National Sales Event” helps fuel this demand. Coupled with low interest rates, the builder’s special event, which runs Feb. 19-27, features special offers and programs at all Maryland and Virginia communities, including $1 option packages, giving homebuyers the ability to upgrade their homes for pocket change.

Harford County

Thurman Reynolds, a project manager at Toll Brothers, notes that special incentives are offered at both Harford County communities – The Estates and Reserve at Cedarday and Tollgate Village. “We’re able to pass along savings from our vendors to homebuyers with $1 packages for our most popular large structural options, as well as upgraded finishes from our Design Studio,” says Thurman, who adds that packages vary by community and model. “Entire kitchen packages, granite countertops, tile flooring, structural bump-outs … you name it, and buyers can choose from an extensive menu.” Reynolds adds that communities also will have special events such as home tours and refreshments; homebuyers should check each community’s offerings online.

The Estates and The Reserve at Cedarday in Bel Air offer two distinct communities, Reynolds says. The Estates features a community setting with sidewalks and public water and sewer with home sites varying from one-third-acre to three-plus acres, whereas The Reserve offers a more rural feel with estate homes and home sites from one to four acres.

These spacious homes come in a variety of floor plans. The Columbia model has four bedrooms and 3-1/2 baths in an open floor plan, including a study, large kitchen, family room with vaulted ceiling and a spacious master suite. For those looking for a first-floor master suite, the Waterford delivers, along with additional features that include a two-story foyer, family room with two-story ceiling, living room with cathedral ceilings, gourmet kitchen with butler pantry, four bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths. Also available are the Harvard, the Chelsea (featured as their model home), and the Hampton.

Toll Brothers’ active-adult (55-plus) community of Tollgate Village, located in Bel Air, is one of the most successful communities for the builder. Tollgate Village has only seven homes remaining for sale, including three decorated models and four quick delivery homes. One of the prime draws to this community is the location, as all the amenities Bel Air has to offer, including restaurants and shops, are at your doorstep. Tollgate Village is also close to medical services, appealing for those living in an active-adult community, the MA & PA Trail, the Equestrian Center and the Bel Air Athletic Club.

Of course, the ideal location is just one reason why Tollgate Village is almost sold out. The spacious carriage homes are packed with high-end features. Standard gourmet kitchens with Whirlpool® appliances and granite countertops are perfect for entertaining family and friends, while upgraded lighting and upgraded flooring offer stylish accents. In the master suite, homeowners will enjoy walk-in closets, soaking tub and separate shower, and coffered ceilings. Homes also include a two-car attached garage, first-floor master suite and full basements.

Anne Arundel County

Special option packages are also available at the townhome community of The Enclave at ArundelPreserve in Hanover, which boasts a convenient location and spacious homes. “We’re one minute from I-295, five minutes from Fort Meade and walking distance to restaurants and Arundel Mills Mall,” says Nate Beidle, project manager. “The community is an excellent place to live whether commuting to Fort Meade, Columbia, Baltimore or Washington, D.C.” Beidle notes that the community consists of townhomes available in three different models, and single-family homes are expected to open later this year.

Townhomes feature three bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths standard, and Beidle notes that many homebuyers opt to add a bathroom on the lower level. Also standard is a two-car garage and finished lower level. “The homes have brick fronts, Hardiplank siding and a maintenance-free deck off the kitchen,” Beidle says. “There is hardwood flooring in the foyer and the gourmet kitchen has an island and breakfast area.”

Howard County

Homebuyers will also enjoy National Sales Event specials at Howard County communities.
