The senior led the Doves to three victories last week, including a 74-66 overtime upset of then-No. 11 Dunbar. She scored all of her 18 points after halftime and went 10-for-12 from the free-throw line as her last two foul shots sealed the victory. McKnight, a 5-foot-9 guard, also had 10 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Patterson and 15 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Lake Clifton. She averages eight points and eight rebounds, and shot 83 percent from the free-throw line last week. An Amateur Athletic Union player for the Maryland Lady Comets, she leads No. 8 Western in blocks and ranks second in steals. Next year, she will play for Jefferson College in Missouri, which reached the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I national championship game last winter.
