Woman struck and killed by MTA bus in Pikesville

Police have not determined who was at fault

An MTA bus struck and killed a woman in Pikesville on Saturday, Baltimore County Police said.

The woman was crossing Park Heights Avenue near Slade Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. when she was struck, police said. She was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Police said she was walking in the crosswalk, but have not determined who was at fault in the incident.

The woman, who police said was in her mid-50s, was not identified, pending notification of her next of kin.
