Softball Registration

Howard County Youth Program (HCYP) is holding registration for its spring Girls Fastpitch Softball league. Teams are being formed for girls ages 6-17. Practices begin in March, games start in early April. To register or for more information, go to hcyp.org.

Quilt exhibit

"Stitches in Time/Threads of Change: An Exhibition of Maryland Community Quilts" continues through March 31 at the Benjamin Banneker Historical Park & Museum, 300 Oella Ave. The "Banneker Historical Quilt," a project more than five years in the making, is the centerpiece of the exhibit. Spring baseball

Soccer registration

Registration is open for the coed Elkridge Youth Organization spring soccer program for ages 4-18. Late registration ends Feb. 28. Baseball

The Elkridge Hurricanes' 8U baseball team seeks players for its travel teams this spring and summer.
