Ohio State remains unbeaten, No. 1

Ohio State has just seven regular-season games remaining and shows no signs of crumbling.

Records through Sunday (last week's ranking)

1. Ohio State 24-0 (1): David Lighty's 19 points lifted the Buckeyes over Minnesota.

2. Kansas 22-1 (2): Jayhawks fans hope they don't have to wait long for Josh Selby to return.

3. Texas 20-3 (3): Has beaten its last four ranked opponents.

4. Pittsburgh 21-2 (4): Ashton Gibbs is out about two weeks with a left knee injury.

5. Duke 21-2 (5): The ACC's top spot is on the line when North Carolina comes to town Wednesday.

6. San Diego State 23-1 (7): Looked sluggish but beat TCU anyway.

7. Notre Dame 19-4 (8): Ben Hansbrough is gaining national kudos for his play.

8. BYU 22-2 (9): Beat UNLV for the second time this season.

9. Connecticut 18-4 (6): Jeremy Lamb has seven straight double-figure scoring games.

10. Villanova 19-4 (11): Got back on track with home wins against West Virginia and Marquette.

11. Georgetown 18-5 (14): Hoyas will go for their seventh consecutive victory Wednesday at Syracuse.

12. Wisconsin 17-5 (18): Jon Leuer has scored in double digits in every game this season, including

24 against Purdue last week.

13. Syracuse 20-4 (17): A nice way to end a four-game skid: a victory vs. Connecticut.

14. Purdue 18-5 (12): Boilermakers went 1-2 in three straight games vs. ranked opponents.

15. Louisville 18-5 (15): Hopes Preston Knowles is healthy to take on Notre Dame on Wednesday.

16. Kentucky 16-6 (10): Two losses to start February a bad sign.

17. Florida 18-5 (25): Will try to avenge a loss to South Carolina on the road Wednesday.

18. Missouri 18-5 (13): Avenged loss to Colorado with a 16-point victory.

19. Utah State 22-2 (21): Forward Tai Wesley shoots 61 percent from the field.

20. Arizona 20-4 (22): Wildcats are trying to catch their breath after a triple-overtime win at Cal.

21. North Carolina 17-5 (24): Lost both games to Duke last season.

22. Texas A&M 17-5 (16): You can't miss 12 free throws and win, as Aggies learned vs. Baylor.

23. Vanderbilt 16-6 (23): Rebounded from consecutive losses by beating South Carolina.

24. Minnesota 16-7 (19): Struggling mightily without injured guard Al Nolen.

25. Temple 17-5 (NR): Behind forward Scootie

Randall, Owls are scooting closer to consistency.
