Well, that was a weird week. Eighteen of the teams in last week's rankings suffered at least one loss.
Records through Sunday (last week's ranking)
1. Ohio State 22-0 (1): The Buckeyes squeaked by Northwestern to remain on top.
2. Kansas 20-1 (6): Fans rallied behind forward Thomas Robinson, grieving the death of his mother.
3. Texas 18-3 (8): The Longhorns are playing more consistently than anyone right now.
4. Pittsburgh 20-2 (2): The Panthers got burned by Notre Dame, then almost lost to Rutgers.
5. Duke 19-2 (3): A New York state of mind is a frazzled one for Duke, which lost to St. John's.
6. Connecticut 17-3 (4): Kemba Walker couldn't save the Huskies in a double-overtime loss to Louisville.
7. San Diego State 21-1 (5): The Aztecs figured out why everyone was making such a big deal about this Jimmer kid.
8. Notre Dame 17-4 (14): Things look good with the next two games against DePaul and Rutgers.
9. BYU 20-2 (10): The Cougars fell into a trap at The Pit in New Mexico.
10. Kentucky 16-4 (16): Revenge was sweet with a victory against Georgia.
11. Villanova 17-4 (7): Oh, no, 'Nova. Three losses in four games?
12. Purdue 18-4 (11): The Boilermakers will be feeling that 23-point loss to Ohio State for a while.
13. Missouri 17-4 (13): The Tigers don't lose their ranking for falling to Texas, just like everyone.
14. Georgetown 16-5 (23): The Hoyas officially got out of their slump with four straight victories.
15. Louisville 17-4 (24): Peyton Siva stole the show in a victory against UConn.
16. Texas A&M 17-3 (12): The Aggies got surprised by Nebraska.
17. Syracuse 18-4 (9): The Orange went from hot to, well, as cold as Syracuse, N.Y., with 4 straight losses.
18. Wisconsin 15-5 (15): The Badgers can gain ground in the Big Ten with a victory Tuesday against Purdue.
19. Minnesota 16-5 (17): The Gophers' four-game winning streak ended at Purdue.
20. Washington 15-5 (18): The Huskies turned it over 24 times in a loss to Washington State.
21. Utah State 20-2 (NR): The Aggies' last loss was Dec. 4 at Georgetown.
22. Arizona 18-4 (NR): The Wildcats are tied with Washington at the top of the Pac-10 standings.
23. Vanderbilt 15-5 (19): The Commodores lost to Arkansas in front of a sellout home crowd.
24. North Carolina 15-5 (NR): The Tar Heels return to the rankings with eight wins in nine games.
25. Florida 16-5 (22): The Gators have had a rough time figuring out Mississippi State.
