No. 1 Archbishop Spalding girls roll in Ariz. tourney

Camille Calhoun scored 14 points and top-ranked Archbishop Spalding beat North Torrance (Calif.), 52-29, Monday at the Nike Tour of Champions at Chandler, Ariz.

The Cavaliers (9-2) held the Saxons to 10 or fewer points per quarter.

No. 2 Seton Keough 57, Archbishop Carroll (D.C.) 35: Liz Brown had 13 points and Achiri Ade had 12 for the Gators (6-4) at the BBOWS Holly & Hoops Holiday Classic at McDonogh.

Seton Keough planned to attend the Sandra Meadows Classic in Duncanville, Texas, but were forced to cancel travel due to weather conditions.

No. 4 McDonogh 72, Dunbar 37: The host Eagles (7-2)—led by Briana Jacobs and Candice Hendricks with 15 points each—beat the Poets at the BBOWS Classic.


No. 14 Glenelg Country School 71, Washington-Lee 63: Isaiah Miles had a game-high 22 points for the Draongs (7-1) at the George Long Holiday Tournament at Wakefield High in Arlington, Va.

Calvert Hall 55, Varina (Va.) 47: Michael Wade scored 14 points to lead the Cardinals (6-7) past the Blue Devils at the Benedictine Classic in Richmond, Va.
