Girl struck by car in Perry Hall

County investigators looking into incident

A young girl suffered serious injuries after she was struck by a car in Perry Hall Tuesday morning, Baltimore County police said.

According to officials, the child was hit by a car near the intersections of Silver Spring and Silver Hall Roads in Perry Hall around 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Her injuries were serious but not life-threatening, police said.

The county's accident investigation unit is looking into the incident, said Cpl. John Walker. The car that struck the girl was still at the scene of the accident, he said.
