Christmas programs

•Eastport United Methodist Church, 926 Bay Ridge Ave in Annapolis, presents its Children's Christmas Program at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 19. Also, a Family Candlelight Service will be held beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 24. 'Longest Night Service'

St. Anne's Church will hold its "Longest Night Service" at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, 199 Duke of Gloucester St. in Annapolis. Service includes worship and prayer for those who are enduring the loss of someone close or experiencing grief during the holiday season. Information: 410-267-9333.

New Year's Eve interfaith service

A New Year's Eve interfaith worship service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 31 at Eastport United Methodist Church, 926 Bay Ridge Ave., Annapolis. Representatives from local faith-based groups, civic and community organizations and area agencies will offer readings and prayers. Fellowship time will follow. Free.
