Three things that could go wrong for Ravens vs. Saints

December 16, 2010|By Jamison Hensley, The Baltimore Sun

1. Drew Brees shreds Ravens secondary deep. Brees has completed the ninth-most passes over 20 yards (40). The Ravens gave up six passes over 20 yards Monday night at Houston.

2. Ravens fail to protect Joe Flacco. The Ravens have killed drives — and nearly Flacco himself — with poor blocking. Flacco has been sacked 13 times in three games.

3. Struggle in the red zone. The Ravens can't afford to trade touchdowns with field goals. New Orleans has the No. 6 red-zone defense in the NFL.
