Man fatally shot in Northwest Baltimore

24-year-old man found shot in head, torso

City police are investigating a fatal shooting in Northwest Baltimore on Friday evening.

Police were called to the 3400 block Virginia Ave. at about 5:18 p.m., where they found a man identified as Travis Alexander Baltimore, 24, suffering from two gunshot wounds to the head and one to the torso, said Det. Kevin Brown, a police spokesman.

Baltimore was transported by medics to Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Brown said. Police have no suspects and knew of no motive for the shooting.
