A two-alarm fire in a Cockeysville apartment building has displaced 10 families, according to a Baltimore County Fire spokeswoman.
Firefighters have been battling the blaze in the first block of Warren Lodge Court since 5:14 a.m., said spokeswoman Elise Armacost. No one was injured in the fire.
The county office of emergency management as well as the Red Cross of Central Maryland are helping the displaced residents make other arrangements, she said.
Firefighters also responded to a house fire in the 8400 block of Beryl Road in Parkville at 5:38 a.m., she said. All residents evacuated and the fire was contained to the second floor, according to Armacost.
No injuries were reported, she said.
