Man shot, critically injured in West Baltimore

Baltimore police are investigating the shooting of a man in West Baltimore on Wednesday night.

An officer responded to a call for a shooting at 10:08 p.m. in the 2200 block of W. Fayette St. in the Penrose/Fayette Street Outreach neighborhood, police said.

He found the 26-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to police. The victim remains in critical condition, police said.
