Baltimore Police released the identity of a 15-year-old who was fatally shot Wednesday while standing on a Southwest Baltimore street corner.

He has been identified as Raquan Campbell of the 2800 block of Bookert Drive in the Cherry Hill neighborhood, police said Thursday morning. He was the 10th juvenile killed in Baltimore this year, according to police.

The teen was standing in the area of West Pratt and South Payson streets in the Carrollton Ridge neighborhood at about 5:15 p.m. when "at least one gunman walked up and opened fire," said Detective Donny Moses, a police department spokesman, on Thursday.

The teen was shot multiple times in the body and head, Moses said. He was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later.

Police did not know of any motives or have any suspects in Wednesday night's shooting.
