Scouting report: Maryland vs. Elon

Maryland (4-2) vs. Elon (2-2)

Last meeting: Maryland won, 76-50, in the only meeting in school history on Dec. 30, 2008.

Preview: The Terps are looking for their second consecutive win after beating Delaware State, 72-54, on Tuesday. All four of Maryland's victories have come at home this season and the Terps are unbeaten at Comcast Center in their past 13 games. Sophomore center Jordan Williams leads Maryland in scoring (16.3 points per game) and rebounds (11.7), and senior forward Cliff Tucker (14.8) has scored in double figures in all six games this season.

Maryland is Elon's second Atlantic Coast Conference opponent this season after falling to Wake Forest on Nov. 20. The Phoenix lead the Southern Conference with 16.5 assists per game, and are second in 3-pointers with 10 per game. Senior guard Chris Long has connected on 64 percent of his field-goal attempts, and freshman guard Jack Isenbarger leads the Phoenix in scoring (15.9 points), hitting 12 of 22 3-point attempts.

Maryland will face Penn State in the ACC/ Big Ten Challenge on Dec. 1.
