Police have identified a man killed in southwest Baltimore, in the first of three shootings on Monday.

Charles Burrell, 24, was shot multiple times in the abdomen Monday around 2:29 p.m. in the 400 block of N. Loudon Ave., in the Allendale neighborhood. He was pronounced dead at 5:08 p.m. at Maryland Shock Trauma Center, Baltimore police said.

Also on Monday afternoon, just a few minutes before 4 p.m., police responded to the 1500 block of Traction St. in the Penn North neighborhood for a shooting, and found a 20-year-old man in a doorway suffering from a gunshot wound to the left leg. The shooting apparently took place on the 1500 block of W. North Ave., police said.

City police also are investigating a shooting Monday night in the 2400 block of Hoffman St. in Broadway East. A 23-year-old man sustained a pair of gunshot wounds to the back and was found by an officer patrolling nearby.

The two surviving victims were taken to nearby hospitals, but no information has been released on their conditions.
