Two men were killed and a woman was injured in separate accidents Sunday night and Monday morning, according to police.

On Sunday, 18-year-old Paul Albert Bourquin III of the 16000 block of Cedar Grove Road in Sparks was driving his motorcycle on Beckleysville Road in Manchester when he drifted off the roadway, struck concrete steps and a pole and was thrown from the vehicle, police said. He was pronounced dead at 9:24 p.m., according to police spokesman Lt. Robert McCullough, and investigators suspect speed was a factor in the crash.

In the Monday incident, Thomas Lee Fink, 62, of the first block of Stable Gate Court in Perry Hall was driving his 2008 Pontiac G5 northbound on York Road, south of Phoenix Road in Sparks, and crossed into the southbound lanes about 7 a.m., police said. His car struck a 2011 BMW 355i driven by Nesreen Kurtom, 33, of Saddle Creek Court in Sparks head-on, according to police spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher.

Fink was pronounced dead at the scene, and Kurtom suffered minor injuries. Investigators have yet to determine why Fink drove into the opposite lanes, Rogers-Feher said.
