Dundalk man critically injured in shooting

3 suspects sought

Baltimore County police have identified a man who was shot Tuesday night in Dundalk as 22-year-old Jean Hoffman of the 2000 block of Guy Way and said they were looking for three suspects.

According to police, three men knocked on Hoffman's door and asked to speak with him. He went outside, where they argued, and Hoffman was shot once in the abdomen, police said. He was able to get back inside his home, and the three men fled.

Police were called to the home about 8 p.m. and searched the area but found no suspects. Hoffman was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he was in critical condition, police said.
