Towson quarterback Chris Hart suspended indefinitely

November 05, 2010|By From Sun staff reports

Towson coach Rob Ambrose has suspended junior quarterback Chris Hart indefinitely for a violation of team rules, the school announced Friday.

"Being a member of our football program carries with it certain responsibilities and expectations, Ambrose said. "Unfortunately, Chris has made choices that are not in line with the direction of our program. While this development is a disappointment, our team remains focused on Delaware this Saturday and towards our unified goal of finishing the 2010 campaign in a strong fashion."

Bart Blanchard, a graduate student who transferred from The Citadel, is expected to start at quarterback Saturday.
