An agenda for the new GOP majority

November 03, 2010

Tuesdays big victory by the GOP and the conservatives showed the displeasure of the people with the mostly Democratic Congress and is also a rebuke to the Obama Administration. Republicans also made gains in the Senate and in state houses.

What should be the Republicans' agenda now that they won the House?

First and foremost, the new Congress must repeal Obamacare. It must also significantly cut government spending and stop all tax increases. Initiate a new policy to defend our national security and stop bowing and apologizing to foreign dictators.

We must put elected officials back in charge by reining in the current abuses by some executive branch agencies such as the EPA.

This new political landscape will definitely endanger President Obama's liberal agenda.
