A 28-year-old Parkville man on Monday pleaded guilty to producing child pornography by coercing a Massachusetts girl to send him sexually explicit digital photos, the Maryland U.S. Attorney's Office announced.
Jeremy Guzewicz, of the unit block of Dowling Circle, faces 15 to 30 years in federal prison at his sentencing, scheduled for Jan. 21.
According to a statement of facts contained within his plea agreement, Guzewicz met the girl online in 2006, when she was 12, through a social website called teenchat.com, where he falsely portrayed himself as an older man with stepchildren. Over the next several years, court records claim, he encouraged her to send him sexual photos of herself and called her on the telephone while he masturbated.
