Boys' Latin tops AACS in volleyball semifinal

Carter Paff sparked a 7-0 run in the decisive fifth game with three aces as the host Boys' Latin volleyball team beat Annapolis Area Christian School, 3-2, in a Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association B Conference semifinal Wednesday.

The Lakers improved to 6-3 and the Eagles ended their season at 5-4.

Boys' Latin advances to Friday's championship at 6 p.m. and will host the winner of Archbishop Curley/St. Paul's. The Lakers won, 12-25, 23-25, 25-16, 25-8, 15-9.
