Gala Gilchrist Hospice Care's 25th annual Taste & Auction of Howard County will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Turf Valley, 2700 Turf Valley Road in Ellicott City. New season Howard Community College's student alumni theater group, Arts Collective, opens its 16th season with the musical "On Broadway." Also, for the first time, Arts Collective will offer a subscription series that gives subscribers the opportunity to buy tickets to all six productions or four of their choosing at a discounted price.
