A man was shot in Halethorpe early Saturday but is expected to survive, a Baltimore County police spokesman said.

The victim, who was not identified, was shot in the arm about 1 a.m. at Bero Road and Fifth Avenue, in the county's southwest. He was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment.

Detectives have made no arrests in the case. "They're not working on it today," the police spokesman said.
