Three things that can go wrong with Ravens vs. Steelers

September 30, 2010|By Jamison Hensley, The Baltimore Sun

Three things that can go wrong …

1. James Harrison goes wild again. The Pittsburgh outside linebacker has six sacks in the past three home games against the Ravens, who need to use maximum protection to keep Joe Flacco upright.

2. Run defense is exposed again. One week after giving up 144 yards to Browns running back Peyton Hillis, the Ravens have to bring down Rashard Mendenhall, the NFL's fourth-leading rusher.

3. Penalties cost the Ravens again. Last year in Pittsburgh, the Ravens had two touchdowns negated by penalties. They need to play more disciplined than last Sunday, when they had seven penalties in the second half.
