Two men were killed in separate shootings in the predawn hours of Sunday morning, Baltimore police reported.

Isaiah White, 28 was shot in the back and chest around 4:30 a.m. in the 2900 block of Edgewood Street, near Gwynns Falls Park, police said. He died a short time later at an area hospital. Police did not have his address.

Police spokesman Donny Moses said detectives are following leads in the case. Earlier in the night, White had been involved downtown in an argument that police believe continued in the neighborhood where he was shot, according to Moses.

In a second shooting, an unidentified adult male was found at 4:43 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the head in the 1200 block of Bonaparte Avenue, according to police. He was taken to John Hopkins Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Moses said police have no information about a suspect or motive in the case at this time.
