What's at stake: Saturday's game marks the first-ever meeting between the two schools. North Dakota State will be the fourth team Morgan State has faced from the Missouri Valley Football Conference, having gone winless in three previous contests. Morgan is coming off a 62-3 loss at Maryland last Saturday in the first-ever meeting between the teams. The Bison are ranked as the No. 23 team in the Football Championship Subdivision Top 25 despite falling to Northern Iowa last week, 16-9.

Key matchup: Morgan junior wide receiver Winfred Diggs has emerged as the Bears' top receiver this season, collecting 10 receptions for 70 yards. Diggs made five catches for 26 yards last week against the Terrapins. Junior linebacker Preston Evans leads the Bison with 18 tackles, including a team-best eight last week at Northern Iowa.

Players to watch: Senior kicker Kemar Scarlett has scored all but two of Morgan's total points this season, connecting on five of six field goal attempts. Scarlett was responsible for Morgan's only tally against Maryland, kicking a 39-yard field goal in the third quarter. North Dakota State sophomore quarterback Jose Mohler went 20-for-35 passing for 247 yards and rushed for a 16-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter last week.
