'The Best of the Chesapeake' Annual exhibit of paintings and sculptures by marine and landscape artists focused on the Chesapeake Bay area runs through Oct. 3 at McBride Gallery, 215 Main St. in Annapolis. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays, noon to 5:30 p.m. Sundays, and until 9 p.m. Thursdays. Information: 410-267-7077.

Photography exhibit Photographs by 20 members of the Arundel Camera Club will be on display through Oct. 17 at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park. 'Art in the Park — a 20th Anniversary Retrospective' Quiet Waters Park will celebrate 20 years of bringing art to the Annapolis area through exhibitions at its galleries. Art of various genres from more than 90 past exhibitors will be featured. Exhibition runs through Sunday, Sept. 19, at 600 Quiet Waters Park Road, Annapolis. 'Bottomlands, Drawings and Monotypes' Exhibit by Kelly Adams is part of Adkins Arboretum's exhibition series of work on natural themes by regional artists. Art exhibit The Annapolis Maritime Museum presents "Water, Land, Sky — the Chesapeake and Her Tributaries," an exhibit of Chesapeake Bay art featuring local artists. The exhibit runs Sept. 24 through Oct. 31 at the museum, 723 2nd St. A reception will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 1. Hours are noon to 4 p.m. Thursday-Sunday.
